I am still testing the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 this week. I have to send it back next Monday, so I brought it everywhere with me this week.
Last Monday, I talked about my digital workflow. There is another tip I should mention about how I deal with photos in Lightroom: Import presets.
It's Spring break this week in Quebec, even though Spring seems far away. This week, I got a Panasonic FZ1000 to test so all the photos were taken with that camera.
I use Adobe Lightroom version 5 as my digital assets management (DMA) and as my retouching tool. I go to Photoshop once or twice a year if I have a very specific demand that I can't do in Lightroom (Liquify for example). So here is my Lightroom workflow.

Panasonic Canada lend me a 35-100 f/2.8 zoom for two weeks so I can try it and tell you what I think about it. I liked it but did not fell in love with it. OK, we're done! Next post!
If I do something repeatedly on a computer, I always try to automate it. That is what computers are for. Lightroom is great for retouching and there are ways to automate repetitive tasks

Photographers go into different phases in their development. I think you can learn all your life if you stay open-minded. Some people say they reached enlightenment at one point in their journey... just to discover the next step ahead. I think we all go through those stages.
People tell me I am lucky because my dog and cat are always posing for me. I have one advice for them: make your own luck. Roxy seems to always listen to me. Even my cat Mya looks to behave like a dog and sit pretty for me. My secret? Read this post ;)
