Last weekend, my wife and I went backpacking for two days in the White Mountains National Forest for our wedding anniversary. Usually, I would bring my Panasonic LX100 on those trips because of the size and versatility. This time, I decided to bring the Fuji X-T20 with the 16-50mm OIS lens and the Rokinon 12mm f/2.

It’s been a year already since I started my switch from micro 4/3 to Fuji.
Once a weekly post, My Life's Journey, like the rest of the blog, has taken the back seat for the last two years. It's tough to take the time to write again, but at the same time, I missed this. Like many things in life, the more you do it, the easier it is to find time for it, but skip it a couple of times and it becomes easy to find reasons not to do it.
This week was the annual show of the street dance school that my family and I attend. Yep! We all dance in the family: Hip-Hop, Popping, Funky and Breakdance. I used the GX7 and the LX100. I did not miss carrying around my 5D Mark II with the 70-200mm. Not a bit! Take a peak to see the result.
This week's journey is special. We went on a (too) short family trip to Washington, D.C., last weekend for the Cherry Blossom Festival. I told my wife many years ago that I wanted to go there in the Spring to see all the flowers in the cherry trees. It is not an easy time to travel for us with the kids in school. This year, I decided it would be a treat for my daughter's birthday and mine.
This week is a special week: I will turn 47 Friday. It was a very busy week since it was shorter than usual with Easter.
Not many pictures or story this week. Spring came but Winter does not seem to want to go.
Spring is teasing us but Winter is not over yet.
I am still testing the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 this week. I have to send it back next Monday, so I brought it everywhere with me this week.
It's Spring break this week in Quebec, even though Spring seems far away. This week, I got a Panasonic FZ1000 to test so all the photos were taken with that camera.
It was the last week before Spring break and I made an Android app. It has been an interesting week.
Guess what? It is still Winter. It is still freaking cold. But we will survive :)
Roxy's funny face day and winter funk.
The last days with the GM1, the 12-32mm and the 35-100mm have been fun. I also shot a behind the scenes video of a food photography session this week. Come take a look! :)
C...ccc....cc..colllddddd! It could summarize January 2015.
This week, we went from freezing cold to spring like weather. We had a lot of sunny days and beautiful light for photography.
Bye bye Fuji, back to Panasonic. It was time to send back the gear to Fuji Canada. Here's what happened in my world this week.
Holidays are over. The routine is trying to settled in again. It's also my last week with the Fuji X100T and X-T1.
Sunday started as a spring day. It was sunny and warm. I went downtown to get some coffee for my Espresso machine. I brought only the X100T with me. The light was gorgeous.
It is my first week with the Fuji X100T and Fuji X-T1. Christmas was fun and the kids were happy.
